Ankle Arthroscopy

What Is Ankle Arthroscopy?

Ankle Arthroscopy is a keyhole surgical technique that allows Dr.Mohamed Turky to look directly inside the ankle joint using a small camera (arthroscope), diagnosing and treating ligament and cartilage damage without opening the joint.

When Is It Needed?

This procedure is commonly used for chronic ankle pain, unresolved sprains, ligament instability, cartilage damage, or persistent swelling that hasn’t responded to conservative treatment.

The Procedure

Through a very small incision, the arthroscope provides a magnified, high-precision view of the joint. Dr.Mohamed Turky can then diagnose the exact cause of pain and treat it in the same session  repairing ligaments, removing damaged tissue, or addressing joint impingement.
